CIBC doesn’t forget small businesses and has just launched a new offer for the CIBC Aerogold® Visa Card for Business for which you could get:
However, the contribution remains $180/year from the first year.
This offer is valid from July, 1 to October 31, 2019.
In the past, it was fairly easy for self-employed to get a CIBC business card.
However, in recent months, CIBC has strengthened its criteria by requesting more proof to be presented in branches.
Gradually, Aeroplan-related credit card issuers (American Express, CIBC and TD) are announcing their offerings.
TD was the first to shoot a few months ago. So it’s CIBC’s turn to launch until October 31st!
American Express will likely to be the next to make new offers on its Aeroplan-affiliated cards including the American Express® AeroplanPlus®* Gold Card, which is the equivalent of card with offers on the CIBC and TD.
The best current offer on the American Express and Aeroplan side is on the American Express® AeroplanPlus®* Platinum Card. This card has the main advantage of offering access to Air Canada’s Maple Leaf lounges and an excellent Aeroplan mileage accumulation rate.
